Stay in Destiny World Big Update: Linear Vesting in 2022
Welcome to the first major and fantastic announcement of Stay in Destiny World in 2022. We’ve decided to switch from monthly to daily linear vesting!!!!!
The old vesting policy
As you know, in the last months of 2021, “Stay in Destiny World” was a huge highlight in the GameFi industry. We have successfully raised $1.45 million in Seed and Private rounds, as well as $450,000 in IDO rounds. The vesting rule is as follows:
- Angel Seed: 5% at TGE, then vesting in 24 months
- Private: 8% at TGE, then vesting in 12 months
- Public (IDO): 30% at TGE, then vesting in 4 months
Linear Vesting — a breakthrough in 2022
However, being aware of various shortcomings in this method of vesting, we have decided to make a significant modification in Angel Seed, Private and IDO vesting from January 3rd, 2022: switch from monthly to daily linear vesting.
Instead of claiming $SIW on the 27th of every month, you can now claim $SIW EVERY DAY!!
For examples:
You bought $SIW in IDO rounds and received 30% on Dec 27th (our TGE). Instead of receiving 17,5% tokens a month in the period of 4 months (120 days), you now receive approx. 0.58% every day (starting from Dec 28th) until the final vesting day of IDO rounds.
This is the revolutionary improvement that will benefit literally everyone:
- Users and investors will have more control over their assets. They won’t have to wait until a certain day in a month to get the tokens (while the price may change continuously in that month.)
- There won’t be any worry about the big “dump” on monthly vesting day, because all tokens are distributed every day.
- The $SIW token price will increase accordingly with the game’s development and expansion without being affected by the monthly vesting day.
How to claim $SIW tokens?
For our Angel Seed, Private and IDO investors, here are the simple steps to claim $SIW to your wallet:
Step 1: Access https://investing.destinyworld.io/
Step 2: Connect your Metamask Wallet
Step 3: Click the “CLAIM” button
Step 4: Approve transaction on your Metamask
- Pool name: the round that you bought $SIW
- Current Address: the wallet address you used to join that round
- Total Claimable amount: the total $SIW amount you get for the rest vesting time (=[total vesting tokens]-[TGE tokens received])
- Total Claimed amount: the $SIW amount that you’ve claimed
- Today Claim amount: the $SIW amount you can claim today
Notice:
- Daily claim is now available for IDO rounds. IDO daily claiming period is120 days starting from December 28th.
- For those who joined IDO round on EnjinStarter, daily claiming is not available at the moment due to integrating process. We’ll announce when it’s ready.
- Locked time in vesting policy doesn’t change, which means Private daily claiming period is 360 days starting from January 27th; and for Angel Seed is 720 days starting from February 27th.
- $SIW will be distributed at 0:00 UTC of each day.
- Unclaimed $SIW from previous days will be accumulated (aggregated) to the next day and so forth.
- The minimum claiming amount is 10 $SIW.
